Lakey beach, the hidden wealth of Indonesia

Indonesia as an archipelago country has much of wonderful beach is not only for tourism object but also be a heaven for surfer. One of that is Lakey Beach. Lakey beach located in subdistrict of Hu`u, district of Dompu, Sumbawa island, Province of West Nusa Tenggara, is one of wonderful beach in our country and maybe have not known by our society. That was ironic!

In this beach often create surfing international event, and many surfer from abroad come to Lakey such as America, English, Brazil, France, Italy, Russia and exectra. Lakey beach be famous cause of excellent and consistency wave. So, make Lakey beach be the best place for surfing in the world.

If in Nias island and Hawaii has wave which move from the only one side, in Lakey can move from two side, left side and right side. Cause of that so many surfer go to Lakey, they say wave from left side more difficult than right side.

Lakey beach even famous cause of it has kind of wave more complete than another. These are kind of waves :

• Nangas Wave: wave with horizontal type, this wave speciall for beginner.

• Lakey Peak Wave: Wave in the beginning culminate and then horizontal. This wave consistency and excellent, most of surfer like this part.

•  Pipe Wave: Wave similar with pipe, wave you can see in Hawaii also.

• Periscope wave: Wave similar with telescope. So, when we surfing just like in the telescope. This wave more difficult than other.

In technical, wave of Lakey is safe for doing exercise. Because in normal condition height of wave between 1.5 meter and 3 meter with depth 4 meter. So, for beginner surfer does not be afraid to try this.
